Mean people may have been heard to opine that I only cook in order to provide fodder for cartooning. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Cartoons by vmlojw. Started on Wednesday 5th April, 2006, in honour of spare time. The absence of spare time is easily tracked by the number of cartoons I put up. My aim is to do better than last year, whatever year it is.

REminds me of a mince pie that I just took out of the microwave.
The crust was cool but the inside raisins had a new life of their own.

I don't know who wrote that about the mince pies, but your catoon reminded of the same thing. Some pies/tarts get surprisingly hot inside, although my culinary skills have so far not included a pecan tart. Strangely enough, the mince pie experiences I've had just didn't seem as funny at the time as your cartoon...
