I hate raking leaves. I wouldn't mind calmly raking up a couple of crunchy picturesque yellow leaflets, but here it is a veritable and ongoing saga. It lasts for days. Vikings didn't even have sagas this long. We bagged 60 bodysize garbage bags of leaves last autumn, over a period of weeks. What's up with all the deciduousity?
